ISTE Standards for Students
Strong connections to Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and technology-fundamentals expectations.
Review ISTE Standards ↗Drone Career Explorer connects systems thinking, engineering design, digital responsibility, data literacy, career exploration, and professional communication—then recognizes completed learning through program-issued certificates and program-issued educator microcredentials.
Program-issued certificates and microcredentials are earned through completion and evidence—not attendance alone.
Drone Career Explorer is designed with documented connections to technology, computing, engineering-design, digital-citizenship, and career-readiness competencies. These references inform curriculum design; they do not imply external endorsement or formal certification by the standards organizations.
Strong connections to Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and technology-fundamentals expectations.
Review ISTE Standards ↗Relevant connections include the Systems and Security, Data and Analysis, and Computing and Society topic areas, the Artificial Intelligence specialty area, and the Ethics and Social Responsibility and Human-Centered Design pillars of the 2026 standards.
Review CSTA Standards ↗Middle and high school tasks connect naturally to defining problems, criteria and constraints, modeling, testing solutions, using evidence, and computational/simulation-based design thinking.
Review NGSS Engineering Design ↗Portfolio work emphasizes communication, evidence, teamwork, problem framing, responsible technology use, career research, and professional reflection.
Certificates recognize successful completion of required learning experiences and portfolio/capstone evidence. They are program credentials issued by Drone Career Explorer / Maison Glamour et Grâce and are not FAA airman certificates or operating authority.
Earned after completing the six-unit middle-school pathway, required portfolio evidence, and the Drone Career Challenge.
Earned after completing the nine-unit high-school pathway, professional-style portfolio artifacts, and capstone mission proposal/defense.
Earned after completing the professional readiness pathway and capstone evidence covering governance, safety, automation oversight, data, security, reliability, and advanced-operations context.
The educator microcredential recognizes demonstrated readiness to facilitate the curriculum—not simply participation in a workshop. It can be earned through professional learning plus implementation evidence.
Complete the required Drone Career Explorer professional-learning sequence.
Develop a grade-band implementation plan, including learning setting, materials, safety expectations, and learner supports.
Submit evidence such as a lesson adaptation, facilitation artifact, student-work review, or implementation reflection.
Receive the program-issued educator microcredential and digital recognition after evidence review.
Recognizes the ability to facilitate Drone Career Explorer using responsible technology practices, evidence-based instruction, career-connected learning, and appropriate implementation safeguards.
Professional learning + evidence reviewCredential requirements are tied to observable evidence so schools and learners can distinguish program completion from simple participation.
